A bit of a spooky Did You Know the week before Halloween!
Dracula by Bram Stoker has made a really big resurgence recently with a new Audible recording of the tale, and the Dracula Daily mailing list (and saying that it's a resurgence is saying something too, since there have actually been more than 200 Dracula films made, and Christopher Lee has starred in an astounding 11 of them.
The book Dracula was also almost titled The Undead, and Count Dracula's name in Stoker's drafts was Count Wampyr. It's also an amazing book, but, some of its popularity back in the start may also be attributed to the fact that due to Stoker's whoopsie, the book went straight into the public domain after publication. And, finally speaking of publication, it hasn't been out of publication as a book (you can find it for free at Project Gutenberg if you don't want to put it on hold from the library) in the United States since 1931 when there was a very famous movie version made starring Bela Lugosi.
