MEMORIAL DAY PARADE, MAY 25, 10AM: Join us at the Methuen Memorial Day Parade, Monday May 25. Parade begins at 10:00 am
at American Legion Post 122, 200 Broadway.

PARADE ROUTE: Proceed north on Broadway, right on Pleasant Street, right on Charles Street to WWII Monument for brief ceremony.

Parade proceeds down Charles Street crossing Broadway onto Hampshire Street, left on Lowell Street, left on Grove Street to Walnut Grove Cemetery for brief ceremony.

Parade reforms on Grove Street, right on Lowell Street, right on Hampshire Street, right on Broadway to American Legion Post 122.

In the event of inclement weather the ceremony will be held at the Methuen American Legion Post 122, 200 Broadway at 10:00 am. Questions, call Tom Hargreaves at (978) 423-0764 or email [email protected].

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE, CITY HOURS, & TRASH/RECYCLING PICKUP

The Methuen Memorial Day Parade starts at 10am at the American Legion, 200 Broadway. Please join us to commemorate our Veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice.

City Hall and the Transfer Station are closed Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day. Trash and Recycling collection will be on a 1-day delay Week of May 25. Here is the collection schedule:

Monday-5/25/26- Memorial Day – Closed, no pickup
Tuesday-5/26/26- Monday’s pickup
Wednesday-5/27/26-Tuesday’s pickup
Thursday-5/28/26-Wednesday’s pickup
