🚨 CRITICAL UPDATE — PENELOPE NEEDS OUR HELP 🚨

Our sweet Penelope is still hospitalized and still fighting for her life.

Unfortunately, she is not out of the woods. Penelope still cannot breathe adequately on her own, and the veterinary team has not been able to remove her tracheostomy tube because she depends on it to breathe.

She also needs another round of antivenom as her veterinary team continues working to save her.

This is much more serious than we had hoped. Her continued hospitalization, around-the-clock care, additional antivenom, medications and treatment mean her veterinary bill continues to grow—but we are not giving up on her.

Penelope has been our little therapy horse, bringing joy, comfort and smiles to so many people who have visited Ringtail Ranch. She has given so much love to everyone around her.

Now it is our turn to fight for her.

Please, if you can donate—even $5, $10 or $20—it will help us continue Penelope’s lifesaving treatment. If you cannot donate, please share her story. Every share matters.

🚨 HELP SAVE PENELOPE — EMERGENCY SNAKEBITE TREATMENT 🚨

Our sweet Penelope needs us.

Penelope suffered a serious snakebite and was rushed to the veterinary hospital with severe swelling. Her condition became serious enough that emergency treatment included rattlesnake antivenom and an emergency tracheotomy to protect her airway.

Her veterinary estimate is $1,788.72, and we have set a fundraising goal of $1,800 to cover her emergency treatment.

Penelope has spent her life bringing happiness and comfort to the people around her. She has been our little therapy horse, putting smiles on faces and bringing joy to children and adults alike.

Now it’s our turn to return the favor.

We need 72 people to give just $25 to reach Penelope’s $1,800 goal.

Every donation matters. If you cannot donate, PLEASE share her story. Sharing costs nothing and could help us reach the people who can help save her.

❤️ GOAL: $1,800

We will still be offering private workshops, Pics with Penelope, and Critter Encounters by appointment! Please PM us or visit ringtailranch.com for scheduling information.

Thank you for your continued support of Ringtail Ranch Lemur Rescue! 💜🐾

💜 TODAY IS THE DAY — SOA IS COMING HOME! 💜

Two weeks ago, we were faced with a decision we never wanted to make. Soa’s little body was so weak and so badly injured that we had to consider whether letting her go was the kindest thing we could do.

We chose to give her a chance.

And what has happened since then feels nothing short of a miracle. 🙏💜

Soa has progressed unimaginably well. She has gained weight, her tail is healing, her bone density has improved, and every day she has shown us just how much fight is inside that tiny body.

We are incredibly grateful to Dr. Heard and her amazing team for the extraordinary care, compassion, and dedication they have given Soa over these past two weeks. They gave this little girl every opportunity to fight, heal, and get strong enough to come home.

Today, by the grace of God and with the incredible care she has received from Dr. Heard and her team, Soa is coming HOME to Ringtail Ranch.

This is the beginning of her new life — a life where she will be safe, loved, protected, and given everything she needs to continue healing.

Our staff and volunteers are eagerly awaiting her arrival, and we cannot wait to welcome this sweet girl home. 💜

From wondering if she would survive… to bringing her home.

What a miracle. What a fighter. Welcome home, Soa.

🙏 Thank you, God, for answering our prayers and giving this sweet girl a chance at the life she deserves. 💜
