It is true…. As of today I am no longer on the ballot for Sheriff unfortunately. I apparently didn’t meet all of the GOP standards, with moving to Perry County, I only voted 2 out of the last 4 elections. At this point the only chance we have to make a change is through a write in vote, it’s a big leap but still an option….

Good evening everyone! I would like to go ahead and address a few questions I have been receiving.
-“Why were you fired?” I was put into two conflicting positions. I was an SRO ( school resource officer) and a s*x investigator. Those two positions should never be done by one person, but I attempted to succeed at it anyways. I had prior experience as an SRO but never got any training regarding the investigation position. I ended up falling behind on a few reports and at the same time learned of my brother-in-laws untimely death. I quickly switched my vacation time around for leave and offered to work on my reports while gone. I was told not to worry, go be with my family, and that my work would still be here when I returned. I came back, completed my reports, and two days after my return I was called into the office. I was ultimately fired for, “a lack of performance.”

-“What will you do different?” I will do things fairly and according to the law. I will not play favorites. I will be in the community and making sure deputies are being proactive. I will have the clean up crew back out more, not just where they are seen but also where they are NEEDED. I will do my best to make sure that ALL of the people of Perry County are heard.

-“Why should we vote for you?” You should vote for me simply because you want change. I will not beg anyone or pretend to be anything I am not. I have a lot to learn but I can promise I will learn and do the absolute best I can to get Perry County out of the negative spotlight it is currently in.
