Comanche Nation Police Department Community Policing Division recently participated in the Fort Sill Annual National Night Out on August 4, 2026. The free community event brought together roughly 300 residents, soldiers, and local first responders. Direct engagement took place with the Fort Sill Fire Department, Military Police, and emergency first responders from around the area.

The Comanche Nation Police Department is now accepting applications for security personnel for the 2026 Comanche Nation Fair. Security staff will work alongside tribal law enforcement to ensure a safe, orderly, and enjoyable event for all community members, guests, and families. Heat & Weather Preparedness: Security personnel will be stationed outdoors throughout the fairgrounds. Candidates must be fully prepared to work shifts in extreme heat. Applicants must be physically capable of standing, walking, for extended periods.

On the early morning hours of August 3 2026, two Bad Boys Zero Turn Lawn Mowers were taken from the Comanche Nation Complex. After reviewing video surveillance, it was discovered that two vehicles, a Maroon Chevy Tahoe and a unknown make extended cab Gray or Blue in color pulling a flat trailer, were responsible for the theft.
