🚧 Shoemaker Rd Closed between Hough Rd and General Squier Rd for Gravel Haul, placement of new material on roadway
🚧 Vernor Rd closed in Arcadia Twp for Gravel Haul, placement of new material on roadway.

🚫 ROAD CLOSURES - Long Term 🚫
🚧Graham Rd between I-69 and Imlay City Rd (north of Rider Rd) remains closed until further notice due to a culvert failure. Please follow posted detours.
🚧McKillop Bridge between Merrill Rd and Jefferson Rd remains closed until further notice.
🚧Peck Road at Weaver Drain (just west of Railroad crossing) is anticipated to close tomorrow (Thursday). This project was supposed to start yesterday, but storms yesterday and today has postponed the closure.
🚧Lake Pleasant Road closed between Haight Rd and Stover Rd for bridge repairs. Seek alternate routes. Follow our page for schedule updates as they become available.

🚧🌉 Advance Notice: Peppermill Rd/Morris Rd Bridge Closure Begins July 7, 2026 🌉🚧

We're sharing this information now—before the holiday weekend—so residents, commuters, and local businesses have time to prepare and plan alternate routes.

📅 Closure Dates
Peppermill Road Bridge over the South Branch of the Flint River is scheduled to be closed beginning July 7, 2026, with an anticipated reopening date of October 15, 2026.

📍 Bridge Location
The bridge is located on Peppermill Road between the Morris Road to Myers Road extension connection, south of the railroad crossing. (Technically, this location is on Peppermill Rd between Peppermill Rd and Peppermill Rd, try explaining that to your GPS 🤔)

🚫 No traffic will be permitted across the bridge during construction.

🚛 Truck Traffic Detour
Due to a posted bridge on Peppermill Road east of Morris Road, truck traffic should utilize:
➡️ Imlay City Road
➡️ Wilder Road
➡️ Newark Road

🚗 Passenger Vehicle Detour
Motorists may utilize:
➡️ Peppermill Road west
➡️ Clark Road
➡️ Higley Road

Or seek another alternate route that best fits your destination.

🚧🚗 MDOT Lane Closure M-90 Notice – Lapeer County 🚗🚧

On behalf of the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), please be advised that a Lane Closure will be implemented on M-90.

📍 Affected Locations:
1️⃣ M-90 (North Branch Road) – at Flint River Bridge located between M-24 and McKibbon Rd

📅 Tentative Schedule:
🚧 June 10 - 24, 2026

🛣️ Construction Activities:
Crews will finish up leftover work items from last year's bridge project. Traffic will be maintained with a single-lane closure with a temporary traffic signal.

⚠️ Please plan ahead and avoid this area. We appreciate your patience as MDOT completes these improvements.
