What a wonderful recognition of Mr. Gorbe and his dedication to Waverly students over the past 28 years! We're grateful for the impact he's made through music education and wish him all the best in retirement. 🎶

After 28 years at Waverly Public Schools, band director David Gorbe is preparing to retire, leaving behind a legacy built on music, mentorship and community.

The sun was shining on Delta Township yesterday as we joined in the celebration of the new Senior & Activity Center with State Representative Angela Witwer, State Senator Sarah Anthony, township officials and many excited community members.

The new building will offer a space for seniors to gather and learn alongside their new neighbors — the educators and young Warriors at C**t Early Childhood Education Center. We are proud to be part of this partnership and can't wait for programming to begin in 2027!

We are excited to welcome Tyler Rowden to Waverly Community Schools as our new School Resource Officer!
A proud Waverly High School graduate, class of 2017, Tyler returns to Waverly as a Deputy with the Eaton County Sheriff's Office.

He is here to serve and support students, staff and parents, and you may see him throughout the district as he participates in school activities and assists with arrival and dismissal procedures.

Please join us in welcoming Tyler (back) to Waverly!

We loved showing off Waverly High School at our Community Open House last night! Alumni, former teachers, parents and friends came out to see what's new in the high school, and they shared some great stories along the way.

Coach Bill Taft, long-time Waverly coach and Waverly Hall of Fame member, enjoyed seeing photos from his early Warrior days, while current students helped guide tours around the building.

And there's more to see! Join the fun at our next Community Open House on October 19, at Waverly Middle School!

It's the start of a new week, but we're still thinking about all the Waverly pride we witnessed during Spirit Week and Homecoming! 💛🖤
We saw cozy costumes, creative and colorful parade floats, student speeches, games and performances, and the community coming out to support all of it. Thanks to everyone who makes it great to be a Warrior, this past week and every week!

Photos include shares from Waverly East Intermediate and Winans Elementary School pages.

Today marks 25 years since the September 11 attacks. We remember the lives lost, honor the courage of first responders and reflect on all those whose lives were forever changed.
