Super cool opportunity we had at the barn this weekend, can’t wait to see the results!
This morning, we did comparative EEG brain recordings at the Beekman Therapeutic Riding Center, on a client with MS, who experiences profound body changes when she sits on a horse.
We did EEGs before she got on, and then after she sat on the horse for a bit. We will be working up the data over the next week or two.
Update: the data takes time to work up, and will be shared with the client and her other professionals. It may be helpful to understand that EEG changes in a setting like this can be very subtle (for example, clients that are anxious that come in for an EEG Who are generally anxious, but not anxious that day, can still have an EEG that looks anxious!) We are mostly just curious with this particular client, if we see any changes, so it isn’t a big study since it’s one person. 😊 It’s been a fun project!
