EXTRAGIVE 2026 | YOUR VOICE. THEIR FUTURE!

For more than 40 years, The Mix has been a place where Lancaster's young people are welcomed, mentored, fed, and encouraged to reach their full potential. And that work continues because of people like YOU!

On Friday, November 20, we're joining our community for ExtraGive 2026, with a goal of raising $25,000!

And this year, we're inviting YOU to help us make an even greater impact by becoming a Peer-to-Peer Fundraiser for The Mix!

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

It's simple! Create your own fundraising page, share it with your friends, family, coworkers, and community, and invite others to support the young people we serve.

WHY DOES YOUR VOICE MATTER?

Because your story can reach people we may never have the opportunity to reach! Whether you raise $100, $500, or $1,000, every gift brings us closer to our goal and helps create meaningful opportunities for our students.

One person can start a conversation. One conversation can inspire a gift. And every gift can make a difference!

OUR YOUTH | WELCOME BACK TO THE MIX:

THE GYM WAS FULL, THE ENERGY WAS HIGH, AND THE MIX WAS BACK IN MOTION!

What a wonderful feeling it was to welcome our students back to The Mix yesterday as we officially kicked off our 2026–2027 School-Year Programming!

From basketballs bouncing across the gym floor to the laughter, excitement, and familiar faces filling our building, it didn't take long for our spaces to come alive again!

And that's exactly what we love to see! Yesterday was about more than opening our doors. It was about welcoming our young people back into a space where they belong, where friendships continue to grow, where new experiences await, and where every student has an opportunity to learn, connect, and thrive.

Throughout the afternoon, students enjoyed time in the gym, reconnected with friends, and settled back into the excitement of being at The Mix. And, of course, no afternoon would be complete without something good to eat!

Through our What's for Dinner? Program, students enjoyed an afternoon snack and dinner, ensuring that their first day back included both meaningful experiences and the nourishment to carry them through the evening.

A full gym. Familiar faces. Good food. Great energy. And a whole lot of reasons to be excited about what's ahead!

To every student and family returning to The Mix, WELCOME BACK! We're excited about the opportunities, experiences, and memories we'll create together throughout this school year.

And just like that, day one is in the books! NOW, WE'RE OFF TO DAY TWO! Together, we're Inspiring Youth, Empowering Families and our community!

At The Mix, we believe STEM education goes beyond the classroom! Experiences like these allow our youth to explore creativity, develop new skills, and discover possibilities through hands-on learning.

We value our continued partnership with the Lancaster -PA- Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as we work together to inspire and empower our youth!

FAITHFUL GIVE 2026 | A MESSAGE FROM MR. SHONTAE GRAHAM

Lancaster, you've shown up, and I couldn't be more grateful!
Thanks to your generosity, we've raised $4,601.47 during Faithful Give 2026, bringing us less than $400 away from our $5,000 goal!

As we close out this year's campaign, I want to share a little more about the work happening at The Mix and the opportunities we're creating for our youth and families.

To everyone who has given, shared our message, or supported our mission, thank you for believing in the work we do.

Can we reach $5,000 before the night is over? Maybe even surpass it? Whatever the final number, I'm grateful for a community that continues to show up.

Giving remains open until 11:59 PM tonight.
