We’re commemorating Juneteeth by reflecting and remembering there is still work to be done to advance equitable housing and homeownership opportunities for everyone.

Access to affordable housing transforms lives by creating stability, opportunity, and generational wealth. We recognize that systemic barriers have limited access for Black and other marginalized households, and we are committed to ensuring every family has the opportunity to have a decent place to call home.

For this week's edition of , we're looking at the amazing growth and impact of the Lancaster ReStore, from its humble beginnings to becoming the second largest ReStore in the state.

When the Lancaster Habitat ReStore held its first grand opening in 1998, the 12,000-square-foot store was the first of its kind in the northeast. This Saturday, from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., we hope you'll join us to celebrate the second anniversary of the move to the 33,000-square-foot retail space at 1061 Manheim Pike in Lancaster.
