Imagine!

Imagine! is a non-profit provider agency focused on empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through a variety of services.

was established in 1963 by a group of parents determined to see that their children with developmental disabilities had the opportunity to participate in their community. We continue to use that original goal as the basis for our mission. We believe in the potential of all. We believe that people with developmental disabilities have much to offer, and providing the tools and
supports that allow them to show what they have to offer benefits us all.

Kam works at Walgreens, where he takes pride in staying on task, helping customers, and being a reliable part of the team. His bright personality, strong work ethic, and commitment to doing his best make a difference every day.

Through meaningful employment, individuals have opportunities to build skills, gain confidence, contribute to their communities, and do work they enjoy. For Kam, that means helping customers and taking pride in a job well done.

We're grateful to celebrate Kam and how he shines in his workplace!

Yesterday, we celebrated the grand opening of The Grove at Cottonwood! 🎉

Congratulations to Broomfield Housing Alliance, BlueLine Development, the City and County of Broomfield - Government, and the many partners who made this vision a reality. THANK YOU for prioritizing affordable and accessible housing for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

A vision years in the making is now a reality.🎉

Today, L'Arche Northern Colorado officially opens its doors, creating a new space for belonging, connection, and community.

These photos are from the recent Family Information Session, where families and community members gathered to learn more about the vision behind L'Arche and the opportunities it will create. The excitement in the room was a powerful reminder of how much this community means to so many people.

We are thrilled to celebrate the Grand Opening of L'Arche Northern Colorado. We're excited for this important milestone and to see the meaningful relationships, opportunities, and sense of belonging that will grow from it for years to come.

Yesterday, community members came together for coffee, donuts, and meaningful conversation about topics impacting disability services.

Thank you to Sarah Smith and Jodi Walters for leading an informative discussion on PETI (Post Eligibility Treatment of Income), including what it is, who it may apply to, and how individuals and families can prepare. We also explored the history and significance of the Olmstead decision, why it remains important today, and what developments we're continuing to watch moving forward.

The conversation concluded with an overview of Colorado's Medicaid Provider Rate Commission recommendations and what they could mean for the future of disability services across our state.

At Imagine!, it is important to us to help individuals, families, and providers navigate change together. Thank you to everyone who joined us, asked thoughtful questions, and contributed to the discussion. We appreciate the opportunity to learn from one another and strengthen our community.

We want to invite you to the grand opening of Berthoud Adaptive Park on September 5th! Bring your friends and family and join us for a day of food, fun, and community celebration.

The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, community booths, and a fundraiser benefiting a local nonprofit.

We are especially excited to celebrate this new adaptive and inclusive park, where people of all abilities can come together to play, connect, and enjoy.

We got a sneak peek inside The Grove at Cottonwood before it officially opens, and we couldn't wait to share it with you!
This new neuro-inclusive community was thoughtfully designed to foster independence, connection, and belonging. We're proud to partner with The Grove and excited to see this community welcome its first residents on September 2.
