We recommend arriving at Festival Plaza between 8:00am and 12:00pm to gather your brochure and map, check out vendors, or attend a workshop in the Starkey Building. We can't wait to see you there!

Rise and shine! Bike to Work Day is Wednesday, June 24!

Swap four wheels for two, and join us in hopping on our bikes, cruising to work, and celebrating sustainable commuting options.

Make plans to stop by the City of Lafayette’s breakfast station from 6:30-9am at 111 W. Baseline Road-in front of the Recreation Center. Breakfast burritos, fruit, coffee, water and other breakfast items will be available while supplies last!

Don’t forget your reusable water bottle and thermos for coffee on the go. We can’t wait to support your ride.

Bring your picnic lunch, something to sit on, and join us at Picnic on the Plaza every Thursday through August 6, at Festival Plaza, featuring free, live music on the lawn. Each week will feature a different musician to please a variety of tastes. Visit the Arts & Cultural Resources table for a hands-on art activity each week.

Fireworks are illegal in Lafayette - except for professional displays with a permit. No form of fireworks without permit are allowed in Lafayette.

Fireworks have a long history of being part of community celebrations. While impressive, they can have a negative effect on residents and pets in terms of personal safety, risk to property, noise pollution, wildfire risk, and quality of life. Please be considerate of the community, neighbors, pets, and veterans by not setting off personal fireworks.
