Teamwork makes the dream work!

Our communities showed up in a big way for Drug Take-Back Day, helping Community Health Network safely collect 1,398 pounds of unused and expired medications across our sites of care:
🧡 Community Hospital Anderson
🧡 Community Howard Regional Health
🧡 Community Health Network MD Anderson Cancer Center-North
🧡 Community Hospital South

And the impact didn’t stop with medication disposal. At the Irvington Wellness Fair, Community Hospital East also connected neighbors with free health screenings, education and flu shots. Community Howard Regional Health also offered free flu shots during its Drug Take-Back Day event.

Whether you cleaned out your medicine cabinet or helped make it all possible, thank you for doing your part to create safer, healthier communities.

Facing surgery can be overwhelming, especially when cancer is involved. That's why we're excited to bring a new option to patients at Community Health Network MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Our new da Vinci Single Port robotic surgery system allows specially trained surgeons to perform certain cancer and tumor-related procedures through a single small incision. For many patients, that can mean less pain, smaller scars and a faster recovery.

The technology is now available for breast and urology patients, with additional specialties expected to follow.

Maybe you've started avoiding walks. Skipping activities you used to enjoy. Or planning your day around whether your hip or knee will cooperate.

Many people spend months, sometimes years, wondering whether joint replacement is the right choice. Often, it's not the surgery they're worried about. It's the unknown that comes with it.
