Mrs. Kim always shows what it means to take care of every child as if they were your own. She gives the students everything they need, from a hug to an ear to listen when they need someone to talk to. She does what she does out of love for these kids, and not just working a job. Thank you for all you do for the kids here at NKE.

This teacher deserves this nomination as our Eagle of the Month for so many reasons, but as a teacher new to fifth grade, I am incredibly grateful for her support, guidance, and willingness to share resources and strategies. She has helped ensure that all our 5th grade students have access to aligned content and meaningful learning opportunities, including sometimes sharing her instructional expertise across the grade level. Her collaboration, generosity, and commitment to student success exemplify what it means to be an exceptional educator. She makes a difference not only in her own classroom but throughout our school, and she is truly deserving of this recognition.

Mrs. Kim runs a taut ship and keeps our kids and staff filled with food and love. This past month, she worked extra hard to help coordinate snacks for the students in Project Scientist, and she always lends a hand when we have functions for our families. She calls our kids by name and usually knows their numbers and what they like to eat. She is the BEST, and we are blessed to have her.
