Good evening Parkside families! This is it! The last weekly announcement for the 25/26 school year. First I want to remind everyone that summer school transportation has set its routes. We are still taking registrations for summer school! If transportation is needed, a hub stop will be assigned. Also, 8th graders have a special opportunity to participate in the Summer Jackson High School Bridge Program for 3 dates in June. They are as follows:
Thursday June 11th 8am - Noon
Thursday June 18th 8am - Noon
Thursday June 25th 8am - Noon
This program will:
-Introduce future 9th Grade Students to the historic Jackson High School Building
-Connect with JHS Students through a Mentorship Program (Viking M&M)
-Support students in their academic and social goals at Jackson High School
-Connect students with their own academic brains and how to leverage that understanding for long term success
-Introduce students to the real benefits of positive social interactions, connections and networks
-Give the students access to resources around JHS
-Build on the hobbies and interests of students by connecting them to JHS Clubs and Sports
This is a fantastic opportunity for our 8th grade students to participate in and I encourage 8th graders to participate to help ease the transition to Jackson High School. Please let me know if you have any questions. Now for our happenings this week at Parkside.

8th graders, please know that Fall High School Sports have began registering, please see Mr. Baldwin if you need to get registered for any fall sport and have not. For those interested in Swimming and Diving in 9th grade, please fill out the following link!
