Today, we recognize and celebrate the hardworking people whose dedication, skill, and service help strengthen our schools, our community, and our country.

We are especially grateful for the many individuals who work each day to support JPS students and families β€” from our teachers and support staff to transportation, food service, facilities, custodial teams, and so many others.

Good Evening Northeast Families! This is Mrs. Martin with your weekly updates! Just a reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day. We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable long weekend!
πŸš— Morning Arrival Reminder
Our doors do not open until 8:15 AM, so students should remain in their vehicles until the doors open. We encourage everyone to use both drop-off lanes in the morning to help keep traffic moving smoothly.
If you choose to walk your student to the door, please remember that cars have the right-of-way during arrival times. Parents should also say their goodbyes at the door and allow students to enter the building independently. This helps us ensure a smooth, safe, and timely start to the school day for everyone.
Thank you for your help and cooperation during arrival!
πŸ”’ Pickup Numbers
Our first week of using pickup numbers went well! Thank you for your patience as we continue to get into a routine.
If you use the pickup line, please make sure your student knows what their pickup number looks like and sounds like. This will help us keep dismissal moving safely and efficiently!
🍿 Popcorn Fridays Are Back!
Our Popcorn Sale begins Friday, September 11th! We will be making popcorn on all full-day Fridays throughout the school year.
Bags of popcorn are $1.00 each, and students may purchase up to two bags.
We are also offering Popcorn Passes for families who would like to purchase popcorn for the entire year:
🧑 $25.00 – 1 bag each week
πŸ–€ $40.00 – 2 bags each week
Popcorn Passes will be available for purchase in the office until Friday, September 25th. We can’t wait to bring back this fun Friday tradition!
πŸ“Έ Picture Day
Our Fall Picture Day is September 28th! Mark your calendars!
Finally, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of our Northeast parents and families!
We are so grateful that you trust us with your children each day, and we are excited to learn, grow, and celebrate with them all year long! Thank you for being such an important part of our Northeast family! πŸ–€πŸ§‘
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and as always, GO VIKINGS!! πŸ–€πŸ§‘

This guy is so amazing that we had to get him a cape! Not only did he get our building together way ahead of schedule, it also looks the best it has in awhile. As busy as he is, he still took time to help a struggling student. And today he stopped what he was doing to save us from a bat that would not have made a good lunch date. We truly appreciate you, Austin!!
