☀️ Summer Meals begin tomorrow, June 1!

Wilkinson County children ages 0–18 can receive free meals throughout the summer through weekly meal box delivery locations and on-site meal locations.

Meal box delivery locations will be available across the county, and breakfast and lunch will be served Monday through Thursday at Wilkinson County Elementary School and Wilkinson County Middle/High School.

Well, in case it’s not evident, we’ve officially closed the 2025–2026 school year! 🎉

As tradition dictates, we gathered earlier this week for our annual end-of-year celebration filled with great food, fellowship, laughter, and FUN! Our terrific teachers, brave bus drivers, superb school nutrition team members, and every staff member in between worked tirelessly throughout the year to support our students, families, and one another. This celebration was a well-deserved opportunity to honor those efforts and celebrate all we accomplished together.

The morning was filled with smiles, reflection, gratitude, and celebration as we took a break from the daily hustle and bustle. A sea of blue filled the room, creating a visible reminder of the unity, pride, and Warrior spirit that define our school family. A special thank you to members of our coaching staff who got us moving and competing with friendly games and activities that brought out lots of laughter and true Warrior spirit!💪🏽

Congratulations once again to all of our award and other recognition recipients. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment makes school community stronger every day. Our retirees, congratulations and may your next chapter embrace you with open arms!

School may be out, but learning, exploration, and fun continue this summer at our 21st Century STREAM I & II Summer Bridge Academy!

Wilkinson County Schools is now enrolling students in grades K–12 for this free summer opportunity designed to help students stay engaged, build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and prepare for a strong start to the next school year.

From the first day of school to the final walk through our halls, the Class of 2026 has left its mark across . Today’s graduation walk was a special moment for our seniors, our students, and the staff members who have watched them grow through the years.

As we close out the 2025-2026 school year, we want to thank our families, staff, students, and community for the support, encouragement, and commitment shown throughout the year. Together, we continued the work of expanding opportunities, empowering students, and pushing forward in excellence across Wilkinson County Schools.

Tomorrow, we will celebrate the final milestone for the Class of 2026 during Commencement Exercises on Friday, May 22 at 6:00 PM at The Palace. We look forward to honoring this group as they take the next step in their journey. 🎓

📢 EARLY RELEASE REMINDER

Wilkinson County Schools will operate on an early release schedule on Thursday, May 21, the last day of school.

⏰ All students will be released at 1:00 PM.

Please make arrangements for student pickup and transportation accordingly as we wrap up the 2025-2026 school year.

We proudly welcomed students from Wilkinson County Middle School who recently competed in the Oconee RESA STEM Fair. Competing against neighboring schools, our 7th-grade team earned 1st Place for their outstanding project!

The trio of Cassidy Ammons (not pictured), Alexandria Kennedy (not pictured), and Kyian Whipple worked diligently to ensure their project stood out among the competition. Their hard work, creativity, and dedication truly paid off, and we are incredibly proud of their accomplishment.

Congratulations to these students for representing Wilkinson County Schools and displaying Warrior Pride in and out of the classroom!
