Summer School Fun!

Wilco STREAM Academy students visited the Sloomoo Institute for an engaging STEM learning experience. During the visit, students explored the science behind slime, learning about polymers, chemical reactions, and the properties of matter through interactive exhibits and hands-on activities.

As part of the DIY experience, students created and customized their own slime, choosing between butter slime or jelly slime while exploring different textures and materials. This hands-on activity encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and scientific exploration in a fun and memorable environment.

Meal box distribution is taking place today for children ages 18 and under at designated locations throughout Wilkinson County.

🍎 Don’t forget! Children may also enjoy FREE meals on-site Monday through Thursday at:

Our Pre-K students had an exciting end to the school year with two days full of fun and celebration! ☀️🎉

Students enjoyed a day filled with games and laughter. They also celebrated with a Glow Party where everyone had a glowing good time dancing and making special memories together! ✨🕶️🌟

What a wonderful way to wrap up an amazing school year. We are so proud of our Pre-K students and all they have accomplished this year. Have a safe and happy summer! 💙

☀️ FREE Summer Meals are coming back to Wilkinson County beginning June 1!

Children ages 0–18 can receive free meals this summer through weekly meal box delivery sites and congregate breakfast/lunch locations across the county.

What a year it has been! 📚✨

Today we celebrated the accomplishments, growth, and memories of our 1st- and 2nd-grade students as we close out another successful school year. From reading achievements and math milestones to new friendships, these students have worked hard and grown so much throughout the year.

We are proud of all they have accomplished and excited to see what next year holds for each of them. Please remember that our official last day of school is Thursday, May 21. Here are a few photos from our morning! 💙💛
