Kindergarten Registration - Hoover City Schools is excited to welcome our upcoming kindergarten students! Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year opens Monday, March 2.

If your child will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026, they are eligible to start kindergarten this fall. Visit Hoover City Schools’ website for registration details, required documents, and instructions to complete the registration process. We can’t wait to welcome our upcoming kindergarteners to our HCS family!
