Local Boy Scout John Azzi, working on his Eagle Scout rank, organized Troop 812 at the Historic Apollo School Foundation to beautify and landscape the front of the school. They pressure washed and sealed the entry walk and knee wall and planted 20 Cocoplum plants. We are extremely grateful to John for making this happen for the Historic Apollo School.

Past recipients congratulate Barbara and Bruce Osborn tonight as they receive the award as Martin County Preservationists of the Year for 2026. To commemorate Historic Preservation Month in Martin County, the historic Apollo School will be open this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Learn about the only building in Hobe Sound listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Refreshments will be served.
