School may be out, but it's officially "Outreach Season" for our Prevention & Education Department!

It was a busy 2025-2026 school year, with our team presenting child sexual abuse prevention education to 37,014 students throughout Northwest Indiana schools and youth-serving organizations. Well done, team! 🎉

As we prepare for a summer of community events, we're busy printing the 5 Rules of Body Safety coloring pages, Parent Tip Sheets, Healthy Relationship handouts for teens, and restocking "My Body Belongs to Me" wristbands and other fun giveaways.🎁🎊🎪

We currently have children and families in need of new or gently used summer clothing. Donations of shirts, shorts, pajamas, and other seasonal essentials for children of various ages would be greatly appreciated.

Your generosity helps provide comfort, dignity, and hope to survivors and their families.

Due to unsafe weather warnings, the Fair Haven RCC office will be closing early today, Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. We anticipate resuming regular business hours on Thursday, June 18, 2026.

While our office may be closed, our commitment to survivors remains unchanged. Sexual violence and trauma do not take a day off, and no one should have to face them alone.
💜 Our 24-hour R**e Crisis Line is available 24/7/365.
If you need support or would like to speak with an advocate, please call 219-218-2552.

🌊 Building a Sea of Support: From Community to Survivor 🌊
We are honored to share that Fair Haven RCC has been selected to participate in the Legacy Foundation 's 2026 Community Projects & Programs Initiative!

Thanks to this incredible opportunity, we have been approved to raise $75,000 for our Portside Suites Capital Campaign, with eligible gifts receiving a 1:1 match, doubling the impact of community support.

Thank you to Legacy Foundation for joining our Sea of Support and investing in a future where survivors have access to safe, stable housing and the opportunity to rebuild their lives with dignity, hope, and independence.

Portside Suites will provide transitional housing for survivors at a critical junction in their lives—when a safe place to heal can mean the difference between returning to abuse or moving forward toward stability and self-sufficiency.

We have the staff. We have the community partners. We have the vision.
Now, we need our community to help bring Portside Suites to life.
