Please read.

The Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office would like to make citizens aware that tomorrow, April 22, 2026, students from Cleburne County Schools, along with deputies and staff from the Sheriff’s Office, will be participating in Earth Day activities by traveling throughout Cleburne County to pick up trash and litter along county roadways.

This annual effort helps keep our communities clean, improves the appearance of our roadways, and teaches the importance of taking pride in our county and protecting the environment for future generations. We are proud to partner with our local schools and students who are volunteering their time to make a positive difference in Cleburne County.

Motorists are asked to use extra caution while traveling throughout the county tomorrow. Please slow down when approaching work areas, watch for students and workers near the roadway, and be prepared for vehicles making frequent stops along road shoulders. Your patience and attention will help ensure everyone stays safe during this community cleanup effort.

The Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the students, school staff, deputies, employees, and all volunteers taking part in this year’s Earth Day cleanup. Working together, we can continue to keep Cleburne County clean, safe, and beautiful.
