While we encourage everyone to participate in Red Ribbon Week, tomorrow we are also encouraging everyone to wear BLUE AND GOLD in support of our Lady Hornets Varsity Volleyball team! 💙💛 Our Lady Hornets are headed to the playoffs, and we want to show them how proud we are as they take the court for their first-round matchup!

Volleyball Hype Walk and Send-Off
Let’s come together to show our Lady Hornets how proud we are and send them off with plenty of Hardin spirit!

11:50 a.m. — High School Hype Walk
The volleyball team will begin the hype walk inside Hardin High School, accompanied by the drum corps, cheerleaders, and Stingerettes. Students and staff are encouraged to line the halls and cheer them on!

12:45 p.m. — Junior High Send-Off
The volleyball team will load the bus and pass by the junior high, where students and staff will be outside cheering them on.

12:48 p.m. — Elementary Send-Off
The bus will enter the elementary school area, where students and staff will be gathered out front to cheer on the team.

12:50 p.m. — Administration Building
The send-off will conclude at the administration building.

Let’s make this a send-off our Lady Hornets won’t forget! Go Hornets!

🌊🦀 Aquatic Science Takes on the Bolivar Peninsula! 🐬🪸

Learning is always better when you can get your feet wet! 🌞🌊 Our Aquatic Science students headed to the Bolivar Peninsula for an exciting day of hands-on learning, coastal exploration, and marine life discovery!

🐟💧 Water Quality Testing – Investigating the health of our coastal waters
🦀 Crabbing – Learning about local marine life and coastal ecosystems
🎣 Cast Netting – Practicing traditional coastal fishing techniques
🐚 Shell Identification – Discovering and identifying shells from our Texas coast
⛴️ Ferry Ride Adventures – Cruising across the bay while keeping our eyes open for resident bottlenose dolphins 🐬 and the incredible variety of birds that call the bay area home! 🦅🪶

Our students experienced firsthand how science connects us to the world around us! 🌎🔬

These are the kinds of experiences that turn classroom lessons into lasting memories and inspire a deeper appreciation for our coastal ecosystems! 💙🌊
