In 4-H, young people make new friends, develop new skills, become leaders and help shape their communities.4-H gives them a chance to pursue their own interests – from photography to computers, from building rockets to raising sheep. They go places – to camp, to state and national conferences. They learn to be leaders and active citizens.

Hamilton County 4-H is having a community pancake breakfast on Tuesday, May 26th, beginning at 9 am at First Baptist Church. This event is to raise funds for Brooke’s Blossoming Hope, an organization supporting children battling cancer. The breakfast will consist of pancakes, sausage, bacon, and a drink for a suggested $10 donation.

Following breakfast, community members are invited to help create Brooke’s Blossoms and assemble care packages for young patients.

The community is warmly encouraged to join in this morning of service, generosity, and hope.

HUGE congratulations to our Super Sewers and Blossom Girls for competing in the District 8 Duds to Dazzle contest in Cleburne yesterday! Your hard work, creativity, and teamwork truly shined.

And a BIG shout out to Emma and Ava Leach for representing Hamilton County in the District 8 Fashion Show. You both did a fantastic job and made us so proud!

Calling ALL Mini Chefs!
Join us June 1st - 3rd from 1 to 3:30pm at the Extension Office for a hands-on breakfast-themed cooking camp. Each day, participants will whip up a tasty morning meal and take home a dish big enough to feed a family of 4-6. Cost is $40, and space is limited to 12 kids. Register by May 27th to reserve your spot!

The Hamilton Community Learning Garden is kicking off this Tuesday, March 31st, at 8:30 am!

Texas A&M AgriLife is proud to sponsor this hands-on community garden project, where neighbors of all ages can learn new skills, work together, and enjoy the harvest! It is a great way to start the spring- growing good food together!

We will meet in the garden:
Tuesday, March 31st, behind the old jail at the Hamilton County Museum.
Bring gloves and rakes
All ages welcome!
