Hamilton ISD Parent Notification – Emergency Update (Parents/Guardians, please check Parent Square for updates)

Hamilton ISD has received a bomb threat. Out of an abundance of caution, we have evacuated our HS, elementary, and Junior high campuses to our designated off-campus locations.

Please do not come to the campuses at this time.

We have sent the parent square notices for more information.

The safety of our students and staff is our highest priority. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation as we work through this situation.

Hamilton EMS was glad to pick up three brand-new Frazer ambulances yesterday! These new additions to our fleet will help us continue providing reliable, high-quality emergency medical services to the communities we serve. We're excited to get them on the road!

HVFD had the opportunity to host an extrication training this morning for our neighboring Shive VFD. It was a great time and hopefully everyone got a lot out of the class. Also like to thank Murphys Towing for hosting and providing lunch. We also had Siddons Martin Emergency Group attending as well.

Tonight, members of Hamilton VFD,City of Hamilton, Texas, and two responders from Pottsville VFD participated in a two‑hour training workshop at the Hamilton VFD station led by Atmos Energy.

Crews reviewed safety procedures, SOP guidelines, and pipeline/gas line safety to strengthen response capabilities and enhance public safety across our community.

Atmos Energy also presented Hamilton VFD with a $5,000 donation, allowing the department to purchase a high‑quality multi‑gas detector that will further improve responder safety and on‑scene decision making.

Training, partnerships, and continued support like this help us serve Hamilton with the highest level of readiness.
