Congratulations to our 2025-2026 Rotarian of the Year and incoming president, Amber Rood. We are grateful for her service and the dedication she has given to the Rotary ideals of Service Above Self. She has introduced the OktoberFest as one of community's newest events and a fundraiser for the our club. Amber has also represented our club at a variety of events in our Rotary International District 6290 region this past year. We are looking forward to the year ahead under her leadership. Flashback Band from Belding will be performing this week featuring Chuck Ring on vocals. Join us for some old time rock and roll this Thursday, June 18, at 7pm. Food truck opens at 6.30. Flat River Museum will offer free tours at 6pm. The splash pad is open for the kids. We are in the social district if you wish to stop downtown for a take out beverage. Eddie’s Pizza has a few specials going on for dinner as well! Check it out and come down to Tower Riverside Park. He learned a lot about Rotary from his mother, Andrea, a member of the Stanton Rotary Club. We are excited to have Nick in our club and look forward to his service. News Flash **** Weather Plans for Tonight's Concert
News Flash ****
The GHS Jazz Band and the Flat River Big Band are performing at 7pm. We plan to continue with the concert tonight. Rain is expected after 9pm so we will hustle out very quickly at 8:30 PM. Please come join us for a really great night of jazz music to kick off the summer concert series.

The Greenville High School Jazz Band will kick off our very first concert for the 2026 Rhythm on the River summer concert series. They will open this week on Thursday, June 11, along with the Flat River Big Band. Come out and join us for a great night of jazz. Concerts are held at Tower Riverside Park on Franklin Street in Greenville. The Flat River Museum opens at 6pm for free tours. The splash pad is open for the kids. Food trailers sales open at 6.30 pm and we are in the social district. Music plays at 7pm. Can't wait to see you there.
