Yesterday, I had the pleasure of joining My Fellow Meriwether County Mayors Reading Group for the construction and installation of the City of Gay’s new Sharing Library! ❤️📖
This project is a wonderful example of what can happen when our communities come together with a shared commitment to literacy and lifelong learning. Providing greater access to books helps encourage our children and families to read, learn, imagine, and grow.
I am grateful for everyone who gave their time and talents to make yesterday’s project possible. It is always a joy to work alongside fellow leaders and community partners who understand that investing in literacy is an investment in the future of Meriwether County.
Congratulations to the City of Gay on this wonderful new resource! May this Sharing Library put many great books into the hands of readers of all ages. 📚💙
When Meriwether reads, Meriwether grows!
