The City of Greenville would like to apologize for any confusion surrounding the placement of a Fourth of July sign in front of Aude’s Ice Cream Bar. We want to make it clear that the business owner was not responsible for the sign, and we regret any misunderstanding, negative attention, or inconvenience this may have caused. The decoration of sidewalks, railings, lamp posts, and traffic islands is the responsibility of the City of Greenville Public Works Department. We appreciate the community’s understanding and continued support of our local businesses.
