Last year, Governor Stein proclaimed November 19th Women's Entrepreneurship Day in North Carolina.
This year, we are proud to announce that Mayor Crisp will be making a similar declaration, proclaiming the day here in Gibsonville!

Did you know that approximately 76% of Gibsonville's downtown business are owned/operated by women?

This recognition celebrates the women who build businesses, create jobs, solve problems, and strengthen Gibsonville every day.

Come out for the Board meeting on Monday November 2nd at 6:30pm to show your support. This is the first of several events in town leading up to Women's Entrepreneurship Day on Thursday November 19th.

Cryptid Crawl starts today!!

These are the cryptids you're looking for.
They are hanging out in downtown businesses, waiting for you to find them. Once you find all 5, stop by the library and let us know where you saw each one - then you'll be entered into a drawing for one of those pieces of cryptid art!

You've heard of Bigfoot, but how about Willie? Bigfoot may get all the glory, but Willie is North Carolina's very own sea monster.

This Halloween, join local cryptid enthusiast, Addison Frost, at the library to discuss Bigfoot, Willie, the Cape Fear Mermaids and more NC cryptids!

There is no registration for this event. All ages welcome.
