The girl making decent grades who never causes trouble is the one nobody checks on.

She’s holding it together in public. That doesn’t mean she isn’t carrying something.

Bloom Mentoring is for young women ages 13–18 offering leadership development, creative arts, and yes, makeup nights. It’s less about fixing anybody and more about giving her one room where she isn’t the one holding everything up.

Two doors open at Flourish on Friday

Friday morning at 10: Together Time. Bring your little one. Kids play, grown-ups talk to other grown-ups. If the last real conversation you had was with a three-year-old, this is for you.

Friday Night 6 to 8: Can We Talk. A room where you can bring grief, pain, or a story of triumph nobody’s asked to hear. Share it however it comes out — words, music, spoken word, or just sitting there. A free meal is provided. No sign-up.

The foundation of your relationship, foundations of your child’s development including language, motor skills, and cognitive.

Together Time is a free parent-child playgroup for ages 2 and 3. Interactive play, music, stories, crafts, and learning activities built for exactly where your child is developmentally.

Gary, the last few weeks have been heavy.

Two weeks without power, spoiled food, no air conditioning, trying to find resources.

And somewhere in the middle of all of it, you still showed up. You shared food and resources. You opened your doors. You fed people you didn't even know.

But just because you survived it doesn't mean you're done carrying it.

The frustration. The exhaustion. The feeling of being forgotten. The anxiety every time the sky gets dark again. That stuff doesn't leave just because the lights came back on.

You don't have to have the words for it. You don't even have to call it trauma. You just have to know that you don't have to sit with it alone.

Can We Talk is a space for exactly this.

A free community meal is included.

SHINE Recovery Café is for youth ages 13–18 on a path toward recovery from addiction, whatever the root of it. Weekly recovery circles, resource referrals, and life-skills education.
