Ember Says...

Halloween is all treats and no tricks when you remember to stay alert.

If you're driving tomorrow night, slow down and watch for trick-or-treaters. Excited ghosts and goblins don't always look both ways before crossing the street.

Have fun, stay safe, and enjoy Halloween, Fountain Inn!

Halloween Safety Tip #3

This guy got it right, awesome costume!

Before heading out, make sure costumes fit properly and don't drag on the ground. Loose or oversized costumes can create tripping hazards, especially in the dark.

A safe costume is the perfect accessory for a fun Halloween.

Thank You, Fountain Inn!

Our on shift firefighters did not get much time to enjoy Jeepers Creepers, because they were doing what they do best, answering calls and serving our community. However, our Chief & Fire Marshall stayed on sight to cover medical emergencies!

Thank you to everyone who came out and made the evening such a success. We're grateful for a community that supports us year-round, and we're proud to serve you, on Halloween and every day.

Happy Birthday, Chief Alexander!

Please join us in wishing Fountain Inn Fire Chief Russell Alexander a very Happy Birthday!

Even on his birthday, Chief Alexander is spending the evening doing what he does best—serving our community and helping keep everyone safe at Jeepers Creepers!

Thank you, Chief, for your leadership, dedication, and commitment to our department and the community we proudly serve.

We hope you have a fantastic birthday, even if you’re spending it on duty!

Halloween Safety Tip #2

Spooky decorations are great, but don't let them become a hazard.

○ Keep decorations away from heat sources
○ Use battery-operated candles when possible
○ Make sure walkways stay clear of cords and props

Have a fun and fire-safe Halloween, and we'll see you Saturday at Jeepers Creepers.

Ember Says...

"What's the best Halloween theme for a Jeep? A fire-breathing dragon, of course! Just make sure the only thing on fire is everyone's imagination!" 🔥

What Halloween theme would you choose for Jeepers Creepers?

Teaching Fire Safety, One Student at a Time

Throughout October, Fountain Inn Fire Department is proud to distribute fire prevention materials to Pre-K through 5th grade students at Bryson Elementary, Fountain Inn Elementary, and Rudolph Gordon.

This may look like a stack of boxes, but these important resources help teach fire safety lessons that can make a lifelong difference, and they are made possible through the generous support of local businesses and community organizations. We are grateful for the many partners who help us invest in the safety and education of our youngest residents.

Fire Prevention Week may only be one week, but here in Fountain Inn, we're dedicated to promoting fire safety all month long!
