After spending time at StoryPoint, Dan Lee is back home and sharing his perspective on the experience, the people who supported him along the way, and the personal and practical considerations that come with deciding where to call home.

We're grateful to have been part of Dan's journey and appreciate his willingness to share such an honest perspective.

👻🖤 A Spooky Spectacular Evening at StoryPoint North! 🖤👻

We had a wonderfully spooky afternoon at our Spooky Speakeasy! Our Bistro was transformed into a frightfully fun gathering spot, complete with spooky decorations, Halloween-themed drinks featuring grenadine “blood” shots, and delicious food from our kitchen inspired by the secret menus of the speakeasy era! 🍸🕸️

🎷 Eric Miglin entertained us with his fabulous jazz styling, setting the perfect mood for an evening of vintage vibes and Halloween fun! Then it was time for Pass the Prize, with our very own StoryPoint North team acting out the parts and keeping everyone entertained. The excitement was real when Miss Carol won a cozy Halloween blanket! 🎃🧡

From spooky sips and delicious bites to jazz, laughter, and a little friendly suspense, it was truly a spooktacular evening filled with fun, friendship, and unforgettable memories! 🦇✨

95 years old, nearly 500 songs, and a lifetime of love for music. 🎹💛

Meet Lou Newman, a resident at StoryPoint Carmel whose piano playing brings a little extra joy to her neighbors every day!

Whether she's welcoming visitors with a familiar tune, accompanying the resident choir, or playing a song that takes someone back to a special moment, Lou knows just how powerful music can be.

“People stop by the piano every day, they say, ‘I was so down this morning, but when I heard your music, it made me happy.’ So, how can you not play?”

We love seeing Lou's incredible story and passion for music in the spotlight! Read more about her lifelong love of music below. 💛

Louise Newman never gets tired of playing the piano. The 95-year-old, who everyone calls Lou, plays daily where she lives at StoryPoint Carmel, formerly Woodland Terrace of Carmel. There is a piano in the main area. “We have a piano or keyboard in every major room in this facility,” said Newma

We fell straight down the rabbit hole and right into an unforgettable Mad Hatter Tea Party at StoryPoint!

The room was filled with laughter, whimsical vibes, and a touch of wonderful madness as we gathered for an afternoon of pure fun.
Here is a glimpse of our adventure in Wonderland:

•Oversized Games: We proved that bigger is always better when it comes to playtime! We challenged each other to giant games that brought out everyone's competitive—and playful—side.

• A Feast for the Senses: No tea party is complete without a spread fit for the Queen of Hearts. We indulged in delicious food and treats that tasted like pure magic.

• Tea and Togetherness: We poured cup after cup of delightful tea, raising our glasses to great company and even better memories.

"Have I gone mad? I'm afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret... all the best people are." Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought their own touch of madness to the party!
