Benchmark Family Services, Inc. services children who have been removed from their homes by the Department of Children’s Services (DCS) due to neglect, physical, sexual, and/or emotional abuse suffered in their biological home. Most of the children served by Benchmark are experiencing behavioral, emotional, and/or mental health problems as a result of being abused or neglected and receive therapy either on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Additionally, some children are under the care of a psychiatrist and receive medications to manage their mental health needs. Benchmark provides strong and consistent support to our foster care families. We provide:
Each foster care family with weekly contact with their case manager, including a minimum of two home visits per month
24 hour/7 day a week emergency cell phone access to a case manager in the event of a crisis
Respite care for foster children when needed
Premium financial compensation to support the needs of youth placed in the home

“Who are these people, and how much coffee are they drinking?” ☕😂

Well, wonder no more!

We’re pulling back the curtain and introducing you to the amazing humans behind the scenes who work hard to support children, foster families, and each other.

We’re a group of different personalities, different talents, and probably very different coffee orders—but we all have one thing in common: a passion for making a difference. ❤️

Meet the team! 👇

Regional Director: Shasta H.
Shasta has been with BFS for 4 years and has experience working as an FCM.
Fun Facts: She love her coffee cold, her weather warm, and her snack drawer stocked!

TSS: Emma D.
Emma has been with BFS for a few months and is rocking her new role!
Fun Facts: She was adopted from China. She enjoys video games with her husband, reading and the fall season!

Senior TSS: Cassondra M.
Cassie has been with BFS for just under 7 years!
Fun Facts: Cassie has pet birds and enjoys Hiking, kayaking and playing tennis!

Office Manager: Jennifer B
Jennifer has been with BFS for just under 2 months and is passionate about helping foster parents and the support team!
Fun Facts: Jennifer loves baking, trying new recipes, hiking, and traveling when she can!

TSS: McKenzie P.
Kenzie has been with BFS for 1 year! She is an amazing support to her families!
Fun Facts: Kenzie is proud to be the first in her family to graduate from college! She enjoys videogames, painting and puzzles!

Licensing Specialist: Amy L.

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be willing.
