We commend Dr. Carolyn Broaden of Coffee County Schools on her outstanding leadership as State President of the Alabama Association of Federal Education Program Administrators (AAFEPA) and for leading an amazing conference that brought together educational leaders from across the State of Alabama!

Dr. Broaden exemplifies what it means to lead with purpose, serve with passion, and pursue the spirit of excellence in education. Her dedication to supporting educators and ensuring that students have every opportunity to succeed is truly commendable.

FFA National Convention - 2026❗️

A testimonial from one of our very own students at New Brockton High School, Mary Koehler! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

“This year at nationals, we were so lucky to be able to attend the concert, rodeo, and a nice dinner at St Elmo’s. All of these activities were very enjoyable; however, my favorite part was meeting the sweetest people from across the United States. It showed me the importance of being kind and how I can impact others with the smallest actions. National Convention also taught me how to have “tired feet”. How to give up the opportunity to be praised and to serve others with no expectations for something in return. I met many people with completely different lives than me, but we were all connected through the love for agriculture. This convention showed me that I truly believe in the future of agriculture. I believe that to live and work on a good farm or to be engaged in agriculture pursuit is enjoyable yet challenging. I believe in leadership from ourselves and respect for others. I believe in less dependence on begging and more power in bargaining. I believe that American agriculture can and will hold true to the best traditions of our national life. These are the beliefs that the greatest student led organization is found on, and this convention revealed to me how much these beliefs can impact my life. Overall, the convention is not about what you do at it, but what you take from it.”
