📚🌟 Great Math Coaches and Interventionists Make Great Schools!

Today, our Math Coaches and Interventionists took a deeper dive into the Do the Math intervention program during a follow-up professional learning session. Participants strengthened their understanding of instructional strategies and practiced lessons designed to support students in developing strong numerical reasoning skills. Their commitment to continuous learning helps ensure that every student has the opportunity to grow, achieve, and build confidence in mathematics.

A great day of collaboration and learning with our District School Safety Team! 🛡️🏫

The Coffee County Schools District School Safety Team participated in a byte-sized professional development session today focused on strengthening school safety and emergency preparedness across our campuses.

Key topics included the new School Dog school safety platform, takeaways from the TAASRO summer conference and an active shooter preparedness presentation facilitated by Kinston School.

Team members also engaged in a collaborative roundtable discussion covering online safety initiatives, metal detectors, access control measures for entrances and exits equipped with lockdown features, campus-specific safety needs, reunification plans, and emergency arrival procedures.

The Coffee County School system remains committed to the continued safety and security of all students and staff. We sincerely appreciate all team members’ ongoing efforts to create safe and supportive learning environments for all campuses.

We could not be more proud of Emily Grace Peeples for being selected to 2026 Super 12 Honorable Mention!

Emily Grace finished the season with a .472 batting average, .506 on base percentage, 34 hits including 5 doubles and 4 triples, 23 runs scored and 18 RBIs.

Congratulations to New Brockton High School's own Garrison Sconyers!

Garrison has earned the Alabama High School Rodeo Association Tie-Down Roping Saddle Championship for the state of Alabama.

Garrison will represent Alabama at the National High School Finals Rodeo in Lincoln, Nebraska, next month, where he will compete against the best high school rodeo athletes from across the country.

We are incredibly proud of Garrison and wish him the very best as he takes his talents to the national stage. Join us in congratulating him on this remarkable achievement and cheering him on as he represents New Brockton, Coffee County, and the state of Alabama!
