WATER OUTAGE NOTICE

We will have a water outage on Thursday, March 5, 2026 that will affect customers on County Road 758 and Highway 92. The outage is planned to last 4 hours. The outage is scheduled to begin after 9:00 a.m.

This is necessary to connect the new tank and well on Highway 92 to our existing water lines.

The water outage scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, 2026 for Highway 92 and County Rd 758 has been postponed to a later date. We will update when we have the date the outage will occur.

Scheduled Water Outage!!!!!!!

There is a planned water outage for Friday, December 26, 2025. This outage will affect customers on Highway 84 West of Elba between Highway 141 and the Covington County/Coffee County line, a small portion of Coffee County Road 377 on the Highway 84 end, and Covington County Road 72. This outage is necessary to repair a broken water main on Highway 84. The outage is scheduled to begin at 7:00 am on Friday, December 26, 2025. Please share with your neighbors, family, and friends.

During the October 20, 2025 board meeting, the Coffee County Water Authority Board Of Directors voted to hold board meetings on the 4th Monday of the month at 5 p.m. at the Coffee County Water Authority Office, located at 401 Davis Street, Elba AL 36323

Please stop by our office at 401 Davis Street East in Elba to pick up an application! Our Hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30-4:00 and Friday 7:30-1:30.

Our office will close early today Tuesday, January 21st. We will be closed all day Wednesday, January 22nd. We hope to reopen Thursday, January 23rd but it will depend on the condition of the roadways. We have on call personnel available for water emergencies.

We are currently experiencing an issue with the Britt Well. The areas affected by this outage are roads in the 400, 500, 600, 700 blocks of Coffee County. Geneva County residents may be affected by this outage. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
