Bonk is time stamped for over crowding at ACCT in Philly, he only has til Tuesday April 8th. If you’re interested in fostering kr adopting please go in person or apply for him! I wish i could have a dog i would take him!
Bonk is a big-headed goofball with a heart as big as his blocky frame! He came to the shelter as a stray after his owner was incarcerated, and while he was initially a little subdued, his true, lovable personality has been shining through as he’s settled in. Bonk is a happy, playful giant who loves to zoom around and wag his tail with pure joy. Though he's big and strong, he’s surprisingly gentle on the leash and walks beautifully, especially when paired with an easy-walk harness. He’s food-motivated and knows "sit," often taking treats gently, though he might need a little help staying focused on walks if he decides to go his own way—some treats usually do the trick!
This lovable boy is all about human interaction and will eagerly greet visitors with enthusiasm, hoping for pets and treats. He’s also known to give gentle kisses—though he might make you work for them! Bonk’s true joy comes out when he’s excited; his goofy grin and play bow will melt your heart. He's a little startled by loud noises sometimes but quickly bounces back with that trademark smile. Bonk is looking for a home that can embrace his goofy, big-hearted nature and give him the love and attention he craves. He may need a home without small animals or a handler experienced in managing his excitement around them, but with some training, he’ll be the perfect companion. Bonk is ready to find his rescue partner, foster, or forever home—could that be with you?
