On May 31, 2026, at approximately 7:22 pm, officers responded to the 300 block of Paxinosa Road West for a motor vehicle accident with rollover. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle that had struck a rock and rolled onto the driver's side.

Day 2 of the Forks Township Police Department Junior Police Academy was packed with learning and fun!

Cadets received hands-on "Stop the Bleed" training from St. Luke’s University Health Network, participated in relay races, and learned about the dangers of impaired driving. They even got the opportunity to experience drunk goggles while attempting simple tasks, demonstrating how alcohol can affect coordination, balance, and decision-making.

Great job by all of our cadets today and we're looking forward to another exciting day tomorrow!

Today marked the start of the Forks Township Police Department's annual Junior Police Academy!

Our cadets got an exciting introduction to law enforcement by learning basic formations, touring the police station, exploring police vehicles, participating in physical training, and enjoying a drone demonstration provided by the Bushkill Township Police Department.

We look forward to a great week of learning, teamwork, and fun!
