Our children’s Summer Reading contest winners have picked their prizes up!

We have our first weekly drawing winners in our Shoot the Moon promotion.
-Melaine Feltner Reichert was drawn at our Prestonsburg location.
-Marilyn Bailey was drawn at our Eastern location.
-Patsy Garrett was drawn from our Delivery Service.

(Unfortuanately the tote bags have not yet arrived but we will contact these ladies as soon as we get the arrive.) Please keep coming in and putting your county library to good use.

Saturday, August 1, we kicked off our Shoot the Moon promotion. We have set a goal to reach 200,000 checkouts by July 31, 2027, and in doing so, we want to reward you for visiting your library. For every 10 items you check out, you will receive one entry into a weekly drawing. Each weekly drawing will be placed in a monthly drawing. All entries will be placed into a year-end promotional drawing, but you have to come to your Floyd County Public Library and check out items to enter.

What are the weekly prizes? Book (tote) bags with our logo on them. You are eligible with each entry to win a book bag.

What are the monthly prizes? We have umbrellas with our logo on them. Participating patrons are eligible to win one umbrella.

What is the year-end prize? A big screen TV.
