Our venue has multiple event spaces available for rental. Velmer Smith. The War Memorial Civic Center (WMCC) is home to many WWII artifacts.

Our historic facility has a self-guided War Room Museum, a collection of World War II memorabilia items donated by Mrs. If you're trying to reach the Veterans Affairs Office, please call 337-463-7305 or email [email protected]. The WMCC houses the Beauregard Parish Office for the Louisiana State Department of Veteran Affairs Office. Rooms are available to rent for your event and the capacities range from 50 to 275 people. Please stop by and visit the next time you are in DeRidder.

• Intake/drop-off windows close at 2 p.m.
• Prescription pickup windows remain open until 5:30 p.m.

You may continue submitting Q-Anywhere requests for new or renewed electronic prescriptions. Requests submitted after 2 p.m. will be processed when normal operations resume Friday, Oct. 30, at 8 a.m.

• Perform receptionist and general office duties
• Assist with maintaining the facility calendar
• Assist guests and community groups with event scheduling and room setups
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to all visitors
• Perform some custodial duties

• Enjoys working with the public
• Has basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills
• Is dependable, organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities

DERIDDER -- "Merry & Bright" takes place from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28 in Downtown DeRidder.

Downtown merchants will be open for shopping. There will also be train rides, a drone show, a huge Santa bounce house, visits with Santa, a special DeRidder Farmers Market, caricature artists, face painting, and more.

This night will also mark the lighting of the annual DeRidder Christmas Light Show, which will run through Jan. 1.

Saturday, Nov. 28 is "Small Business Saturday," so get out and support the downtown merchants during this special event!

"Merry & Bright" is organized by the City of DeRidder and DeRidder Main Street. The drone show is made possible by generous sponsors.
