Deridder's Gothic "Hanging" Jail is open to the public for day tours, night tours, on Labor Day we stop all tours to set up for our October Haunted House attraction. Day tours : Monday through Friday at 10am-11am-1:30 & 3pm
No reservations required

Experience the haunting and historic Gothic Jail where paranormal activity runs rampant and the walls hold secrets of a brutal murder, su***de and a double hanging. October After Dark Haunted House with actors and props -
All day and lantern tours are canceled while this event is going on! Entry fee is only $15 per person and each person will be required to sign a release of liability form before entering the premises. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a consenting adult. Although this is a family friendly event, small children are not recommended.

GOTHIC JAIL AFTER DARK IS BACK — DERIDDER'S MOST TERRIFYING NIGHTS AWAIT

The cells will be unlocked. The screams will begin again. The Hanging Jail is opening its doors once more...for the Gothic Jail After Dark Haunted Attraction.

🔓 OPENING NIGHT: OCTOBER 9th 📍 205 W 1st Street, DeRidder, LA 🕢 7:30 PM – 11:30 PM 💀 $20/person — cash or card, tickets sold at the door only, sorry, no pre-sales.

This isn't some plywood haunt in a parking lot. This is a real 1914 jail — where the condemned walked, where a double hanging happened, where the walls have kept their secrets for over a century.

Now it's coming for YOU.

Also running: Oct 10th , 16th, 17th, 23rd. 24th, 30th & 31st.

Get in line by 11:30 PM and you're guaranteed entry — but, sometimes, the line moves fast, and so do the things waiting inside.
