Tomorrow, June 10th, marks the anniversary of the Equal Pay Act of 1963, one of the first federal laws aimed at eliminating sex-based wage discrimination. While it was a monumental step forward, the fight for true economic equity continues. At BPW Colorado, promoting professional and financial equity for all women remains at the heart of our advocacy. 💼💪

Did you know that this week marks a massive milestone in women’s history? On June 4, 1919, the U.S. Congress officially passed the 19th Amendment and sent it to the states for ratification. Coincidentally, 1919 is the exact same year BPW Colorado and NFBPWC were established! We have been empowering women in personal, professional, and political spheres right here in Colorado from the very beginning of the modern equality movement. 🏛️✨
