THANK YOU first responders!

Happy National First Responders Day!

Today, we recognize and thank all first responders who serve our communities, including firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, dispatchers, and all those who answer the call when others need help.

The Delano Fire Department is proud to serve our community and is grateful for the dedication, teamwork, and sacrifices made by first responders every day.

We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to the public for your continued support, appreciation, and trust in your first responders. Your encouragement means a great deal to those who serve, and we are proud to be part of such a supportive community.

To all first responders, thank you for your service, commitment, and willingness to help others when it matters most. Stay safe, and thank you for all you do!

❗️Reminder that DMU crews have begun flushing throughout town!

💧DMU crews will be flushing hydrants beginning Monday October 19 through Friday October 30.

During this time, residents may experience a temporary decrease in water pressure or discoloration of their water. These conditions are normal and should resolve shortly after flushing is completed in your area.

Today we honor the heroes and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
