65 quilts on display at the library! Come in, find a catalog at the front desk, enjoy the quilts and the coziness, maybe check out a book, read the newspaper, return the quilt catalog to the front desk. Did I mention the library is warm? Come on in. Quilts will remain up until March 6th. Bring your friends. Library hours are Friday; 10-6, Saturday; 10-1, Monday; 10-6, Tuesday; 10-8, Wednesday; 1-8, Thursday; 10-6.

Come and celebrate Sharon Verchota's retirement. Friday, Dec. 20th is her last day. We will give her a great goodbye at 5 p.m., and thank her for her 21 years of service.

The Delano Public Library will participate in Delano’s Old Fashioned Christmas on Saturday, December 7th from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. All are invited.
The Friends of the Delano Public Library will be near our Mexican themed tree and will be handing out hot cocoa and Hojarascas, Mexican cinnamon butter cookies.
At 10 a.m. Chris Ward will perform holiday music on her harp. This artist visit is made possible with Arts & Cultural Heritage Funds from Minnesota’s Clean Water, Land, and Legacy Amendment. Other musicians will be filtering in and out all day.
Stamping crafts will be available all day. Make cards or wrapping paper by decorating them with stamps and many colors of washable ink. Crafts are available thanks to the Gwen Kittock Memorial Fund and the Delano Friends of the Library.
A used book sale of three tables of books will also be going on all day. Fiction, nonfiction and children’s genres will be represented. All sales are cash or check only and change is not available so please come prepared. This is an unmanned sale, and there is no change provided. Proceeds benefit the Delano Library.
