Mr. Jack Brooker, a well known pillar of the community, passed away today after 97 wonderful years. Our prayers are with the family.

Jack is well known for putting up a massive Christmas light drive-through display and 4th of July fireworks for the community, both free of charge and open to everyone. He will be remembered.

It is with a heavy heart that the Brooker Family announces the passing of our Jack Brooker. Better known as Dad and Pappaw Jack, he leaves behind a legacy of love and life that touched so many lives.

Our hope is that this and every Christmas season, when you see the twinkling of a bright display, that you remember the light and life of Pappaw Jack. May we shine brightly, live boldly, and love fiercely.

We are and forever will be blessed to have had him for 97 wonderful years.

As of 10/27/26 we have a total of 9,782 In-person voters and 570 By-mail voters. This means a 17% turnout so far!
Early voting is almost over: polls are open Today and Friday until 5:00 pm, then Thursday until 7:00pm. Come and see us at the Whitfield County, Georgia Courthouse! 205 N Selvidge St, Dalton, GA.

Early Voting is happening NOW! Polls are open 8am - 5pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday this week. On Thursday, polls are open 8am - 7pm!
