Great conversation with Marine Vet Skip Gray and his lovely wife at Curt’s Restaurant in Dalton this morning! I was educated on how crooked and corrupt many officials at the VA were involved with self enrichment, denial of medical services. It appears that in some ways the VA has served as a piggy bank being over charged and defrauded by decades of rampant abuse. Skip has some great thoughts on cleaning up the VA medical system.

It was exciting and uplifting to meet with Democrats from Murray and Whitfield Counties at the Whitfield County Democratic Party’s monthly Breakfast Social at the Brass Lantern in Chatsworth. Everywhere I go in the district, I hear the dissatisfaction that voters have with our current 14th District representation in Washington. They are ready for a change. We can win this!
