Mental Health To-Do List Reminder for You and our Dispatchers🧠

☐ Drink water before your third cup of coffee
☐ Take one deep breath before answering stressful calls/messages
☐ Eat an actual meal — not just snacks
☐ Text or call someone you trust
☐ Take a break from doom-scrolling
☐ Listen to one song that improves your mood
☐ Remind yourself: you do not have to carry every problem home
☐ Laugh at something today
☐ Get enough sleep (or at least try)
☐ Celebrate one thing you handled well today
☐ Ask for help if you need it
☐ Be as kind to yourself as you are to everyone else

Bonus Task:
☐ You made it through today. That counts too. 💛

☀️🚤 Spending time on the lake? Imagine your boat starts to sink, someone gets hurt, or you see an emergency but you have no idea how to explain where you are.

That’s where the What3Words app can help. It divides the world into tiny 3m x 3m squares and gives each location a unique set of three words. Our responders can use the words to help pinpoint your location faster.

A day on the lake should be about making memories not trying to describe “that cove near the island by the other boats and trees.” 🌳📍

Agencies and departments from around the lake gathered this morning for an important summer planning meeting. From lake safety and holiday expectations to educational opportunities and tackling seasonal challenges, a lot of coordination goes into keeping the summer running smoothly!

It may look like “just another meeting,” but behind every safe weekend on the lake is a room full of people planning ahead, working together, and probably debating who drank all the coffee. ☕🚤🌊
