Cresskill Police Department – Breast Cancer Awareness Month
This October, our officers are proudly wearing pink-highlighted patches on our hats in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

We are proud to congratulate Sergeant Grubecki and Detective Oliver on successfully completing the Maryland State Police Motorcycle Certification Course.
This rigorous, two-week program is one of the most demanding motorcycle training courses available. Officers are pushed to the limits of their skills and the capabilities of the motorcycle under the most challenging conditions. Through intense instruction and practical evaluation, both Sergeant Grubecki and Detective Oliver demonstrated the professionalism, determination, and competence required to earn their certification.
With this achievement, our Motorcycle Unit will continue to represent the Cresskill Police Department at ceremonial events. More importantly, Sergeant Grubecki and Detective Oliver will now be deployed on the roadways of our community. They will enforce motor vehicle laws, conduct proactive traffic enforcement, and engage in community policing efforts that strengthen our presence and expand our reach.
Please join us in recognizing their hard work and commitment to excellence. Their dedication enhances public safety and reflects great credit upon the Cresskill Police Department.

🚨 PUBLIC SAFETY NIGHT — CRESSKILL, THANK YOU! 🇺🇸💙

What an incredible night at Cresskill Public Safety Night!

Last night was a perfect example of what makes our community so special — neighbors, first responders, public safety partners, local organizations, businesses, and families coming together.

We were proud to showcase the many people and agencies who work together to keep our community safe, including:

👮 Cresskill Police Department
🚒 Cresskill Fire Department
🚑 Cresskill EMS & Emergency Services
🚧 Cresskill DPW
👮‍♂️ Cresskill Junior Police Academy Cadets
🚔 Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office
💊 DEA
🛡️ Bergen County Regional SWAT
🐕 Bergen County K-9 Unit
🚑 Mass Casualty Unit & Englewood Paramedics
🎸 School of Rock Cresskill
🤝 Our incredible sponsors and community partners

From police motorcycles and specialized emergency response vehicles to SWAT, K-9, EMS equipment, fire apparatus, our Junior Police Academy cadets, and live music from School of Rock, there was truly something for everyone.

A special thank you to Mayor and Council for supporting this endeavor from start to finish. Your commitment to our community helped make this night possible.

And most importantly, THANK YOU to the residents of Cresskill! The turnout was amazing. Seeing so many families come out, explore the equipment, meet our personnel, ask questions, and engage with our public safety partners was exactly what this event was all about.

Public Safety Night isn’t just about the equipment or the uniforms. It’s about relationships. It’s about trust. It’s about knowing the people who serve our community — and building connections before you ever need to call us.

We are incredibly proud to serve a community that continues to show up, support one another, and stand together.

From all of us at the Cresskill Police Department — thank you for making Public Safety Night 2026 one to remember! 💙🇺🇸
