Yesterday, members of the Colonia Fire Department raised the flag as Woodbridge and Perth Amboy Police Departments came together for our Annual Memorial Bike Ride, honoring three officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities:

Woodbridge Police Officer Alvin Williams
Woodbridge Police Officer Joseph Lewis
Perth Amboy Police Officer Thomas Raji

Officers from both departments, along with Township employees, rode together to each officer’s memorial. At every stop, participants gathered for words of remembrance and a moment of silence ensuring their service, sacrifice and legacy are never forgotten.

Members of the Colonia Fire Department responded with Truck 12-2-1 and assisted on scene for the reported fire.

The Colonia Fire Department is excited to announce the return of our Junior Fire Academy!
October 23 & 24

Join us for two exciting days where participants will experience what it's like to be a firefighter through hands-on activities, teamwork, and fire service skills. From hose lines and ladders to search and rescue, this is a unique opportunity to learn, challenge yourself, and have fun alongside members of the Colonia Fire Department.

Whether you're interested in the fire service or just looking for an unforgettable experience, this is an event you won't want to miss!

At approximately 1301 hours the Colonia Fire Department responded to the Garden State Parkway northbound for a report of a Motor Vehicle Accident with entrapment.

One person was transported to the hospital. Thank you Clark Fire Department for assisting us on scene.

Garden State Parkway northbound is experiencing extensive delays. Drivers are urged to use alternate roadways.
