Mid-Week Muse:

On October 28, 1954, the Nobel Prize for Literature was awarded to one of the most famous authors of the 20th century: Ernest Hemingway. He was given the Nobel Prize "... for his mastery of the art of narrative, most recently demonstrated in The Old Man and the Sea." - NobelPrize.org.

Hemingway published seven novels, six collections of short stories and two works of non-fiction, and many of his works are considered American literature classics. Two for Tuesday! 🃏 Games Edition 🃏

Did you know the Woodward Library has a lot of games? Well, we do! They're part of our "Lendable Object Collection." This week's Two for Tuesday Challenge invites you to try out a couple of them.

🗿 "Poetry For Neanderthals": "... is a family-friendly party game similar to Taboo where players earn points by getting their teammates to guess words and phrases. The catch is that you are only allowed to use single syllable words. If you use any words with more than one syllable, the other team gets to bop you with a 2-foot inflatable club." -- From the Publisher, Exploding Kittens, LLC

🤔 "I Have This Friend": "... is a revealing get-to-know-you party game that can also be played as a drinking game.
