If you have medical needs that depend on electricity, let your utility provider know BEFORE the outage. They may have ideas to help you prepare.

Everyone should ensure they have water as part of their emergency kit and people who use a personal well need to be prepared to lose water when they lose power.

You don't need to build your entire emergency kit at once. Start small and build over time.
